Together We Thrive at 2021 NEC
Celebrate SGMP’s 40th Anniversary and reconnect with your SGMP family by attending the 2021 National Education Conference, May 18-20, 2021, in Huntsville, Alabama. The hybrid meeting offers both in-person and virtual attendance options. The conference theme “Together We Thrive” inspires hope and opportunity as the meetings industry begins to recover from the disruptions of the past year.
Rigorous health and safety guidelines for in-person attendees have been created to give assurance for those who are ready to travel. The conference will be held at the Von Braun Center, which is connected to the conference hotel, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Huntsville Hotel & Spa, via a skywalk. This arrangement gives plenty of space to abide by safety and distancing protocols.
All attendees, both in-person and virtual, will be able to earn up to 21 contact hours of education to apply toward CGMP and CMP designations. The conference schedule is now available, including the Certified Government Meeting Professionals course and Joint Leadership Session (JLS) for chapter leaders, both of which are available as pre-conference events.
Our keynote and concurrent session presenters are being confirmed now, and information will be posted on the NEC website as they become available.
